This is the forth coin in a planned series of seven coins that represent the a number of flags over the history of the US.

As the banner opened to the ocean breeze for the first time, Captain William Driver, a shipmaster of Salem, Massachusetts, in 1832, exclaimed "Old Glory!" From then on the nickname of the U.S. Flag has remained.
